OUR MISSION

Empowering People, Strengthening Communities

We provide comprehensive, trauma-informed wraparound services designed to stabilize participants, reduce barriers to self-sufficiency, and prepare individuals for long-term independence and successful community reintegration. The initiative serves returning citizens, justice-involved individuals, at-risk young adults, and persons experiencing housing instability, unemployment, behavioral health challenges, or substance use disorders throughout Beaufort, Jasper, Colleton, and Hampton counties. The program combines case management, workforce readiness, behavioral health referrals, peer mentoring, life-skills education, and community-based support under one coordinated service model. Through individualized service planning and strong community partnerships, Genesis Support Services addresses the root causes that often contribute to recidivism, homelessness, unemployment, and chronic instability. In addition to supporting formerly incarcerated individuals, the initiative places a strong emphasis on prevention and early intervention services for at-risk young adults ages 13–24. Many young adults in the service region face challenges such as unstable housing, school disengagement, family conflict, unemployment, exposure to violence, untreated mental health conditions, and increased risk of justice-system involvement. Genesis Support Services works to interrupt these cycles by providing structured support, mentorship, and pathways toward education, employment, and personal development.
